The ‘Dwarkadheesh Mandir’ has been decorated with lights to celebrate what will be 5239th birthday of Lord Krishna. Huge generators have been used to provide constant power supply, with a view to make sure that the awe-inspiring look of the embellished temple is maintained throughout the ‘janmotsav’.
“The temple can be seen from a distance of five kilometres, with the kind of lighting arrangement put in place. All other arrangements too are nearly over”, said Sandip Kumar, district collector.
Controlling a possible scenario of stampede is the biggest worry of local administration, as more than 50,000 thousands devotees are expected to gather inside and around the temple premises.
Health services and security are other areas which the administration has been focusing upon.
